Making custom details in Building Architect Plus
The magic of Building Architect Plus is in the details.
You can take the most basic building form, and if you add your windows, doors and trim in an effective and imaginative way, your building will truly stand out. Building Architect Plus comes with a few basic detail sets that can take you far. But if you feel like something is missing, then these instructions are for you.
What is the difference between a detail and a paint?
Paints will give your building an overall texture, like brick or wood. Think of this as the material your building is made of. Details are applied "on top of" the paint, and because they can have transparent areas, the paint underneath can show through - a cool effect.
Making details - You have a choice:
There are two formats you can use to make detail art: bitmap .bmp format for beginners and Targa .tga format for more advanced users.
