The SimCity 3000 Patch will only work with the language version for which it was created. For example, the English version of the Patch will not update the German version of SimCity 3000. In addition, English is available in several countries. The US version of the Patch will not update the UK or Australian version of SimCity 3000. If you attempt to install a version of the Patch that differs from your installed version of SimCity 3000, an error message will be received and the installation will fail.
